The FTS line and the SINGLEX variants, designed and manufactured by Seed Robotics, offer a range of tactile pressure sensors providing high resolution and wide measurement range.

Designed for applications where high resolution contact force measurement is necessary.


The high resolution - 1 miliNewton resolution (0.1g / 0.0035oz) - and low cost make it possible to build highly sensitive hands for next generation research in A.I., industrial robots and medical applications.

Additional benefits include High measurement range - up to 30N (3kg / 6.6lb), high overload tolerance and immunity to Magnetic fields.

No exposed cabling.

The same technology and benefits of the proven FTS technology, in a stand-alone package for use in third-party applications.

Singlex Standard: 20mm radius, in 3 axis and 1 axis variants, just like the FTS variants

High Resolution


&High frequency Contact Force readings

In standard mode, output is normalized to mN (1mN resolution = 0.1g / 0.0035oz) and can read up to 30N.

For Artificial Intelligence applications, a special “counts” mode can be enabled, providing RAW value output for even higher resolution (~200 counts per mN).

Standard frequency output: 50Hz, 1Mbps output over UART
Multiple sensors can be connected to a single DAC.
